COMMENTS

Also known as 'The Sound City Players'.

The Sound City Players were a supergroup formed by ex-Nirvana drummer and Foo Fighters guitarist and lead singer Dave Grohl. In addition to Grohl, members included ex-Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic, Stone Sour's and Slipknot's Corey Taylor, Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor, Josh Homme from Queens Of The Stone Age, Rick Nielsen from Cheap Trick, Rick Springfield, Stevie Nicks, Alain Johannes, Paul McCartney, and many more.

Varying musicians performed the live shows as the Sound City Players. These musicians included Corey Taylor (Slipknot), who has done guest appearances and performed lead vocals with the group.

On the 'Sound City: Real To Reel' (2013) album, Corey features on the track 'From Can To Can't'.

Author's note: Although Corey is listed on the Wikipedia page as a 'member', the group can't really be considered a side-project of his as it's really just guest appearances he's done.
