COMMENTS

Sometimes shortened to 'PoE' or 'POE'.

The Pain Of Evolution mantra is 'In order to grow as a person you must endure suffering.'

Des Moines, Iowa based metal band, Pain Of Evolution was created by thier frontman Gabe back in his highschool music days. Since the original line-up PoE has, much like PoE himself, been threw several changes, each arrival and departure of a member has been dubbed a new 'Chapter'. PoE has held six annual musical events for the local Des Moines music community affectionately named 'The Valentines Day Massacre'.

The band's new bassist, Herb Garrison, was previously the bassist in Apathy Syndrome.
