COMMENTS

'Ladder Up An Ass' was a bizarre, one-off joke band and performance art project featuring Corey Taylor, members of The Red Chord, and Brann Dailor of Mastodon. During a surprise set at the 2008 Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival, the group wore surgical masks and shirts depicting graphic images of ladders up asses while playing handmade triangles, making droning noises, and throwing marshmallows. Corey Taylor famously pranced around playing a tuba, leaving a dwindling crowd to witness this piece of absurd festival folklore.

It's also said that Corey performed vocals.

Apparently as the set went on, more and more members of various bands - including but not limited to other musicians from Black Tide, Mastodon, Slipknot, Suicide Silence, Walls Of Jericho, and hordes of others probably forgotten - came up on stage, each with a surgical mask on and a triangle.
