COMMENTS

Often seen stylized with all lowercase letters as 'godkillgod', all uppercase letters as 'GODKILLGOD', or somewhere in-between capitalized as 'GodKillGod'.

godkillgod was formed in 1998 in the turbulent Des Moines scene. Stuck in the middle of rapcore and full-on metal bands, godkillgod had to struggle with being so vastly different than the bands that had been signed at the time out of the Des Moines scene.

The band call their musical style 'discore', or "electonic disco rock hardcore".

'Bocca Saint' was originally the name of the band's 1998 EP, but they also named a later version of the band after it before disbanding.

The band was set to have a self-titled release in 2002, but the tracklist or whether it was even released is unknown.

One of the band's biggest songs was called 'New Dream', which features Cory 'C-Bone' Brown (35" Mudder).

Ex-Slipknot vocalist Anders Colsefni performs guest vocals on the band's song 'Save The World'.
