COMMENTS
Edsel has co-produced all of Dope's albums. On the band's first album, 'Felons And Revolutionaries' (1999), Edsel played and programmed most of the instruments.
Tripp Eisen and Acey Slade later joined the band 'Murderdolls'.
DJ Lethal (House Of Pain/Limp Bizkit) performed turntables on tracks on the band's 'Felons And Revolutionaries' (1999) and 'Life' (2001) albums.
Racci 'Sketchy' Shay (Murderdolls) was Dope's drummer from 2001-2004, then 2015-present. He also played bass in the band from 2004-2006.
Daniel 'Lil' Dan' Fox (Mushroomhead) is a former drummer (2013-2015).
Former live members include Daniel 'Lil' Dan' Fox (Mushroomhead) - drums (2004-2005), and Ben Graves (Murderdolls) - drums (2005).
Derrick 'Tripp' Tribbett (Makeshift Romeo/Twisted Method) performed bass and backing vocals on the band's 'No Regrets' (2009) album. Derrick, better known by his stage names Tripp Lee and Sinister, is the younger brother of Mudvayne lead guitarist Greg Tribbett.
Author's note: The 'Life' (2001) album's sound is said to bear a resemblance to that of Marilyn Manson with nu metal elements. Personally, some of Edsel Dope's vocals on that album remind me a lot of Wednesday 13's, especially such as on the hidden track 'You're Full Of Shit'. Talking of Wednesday 13, it was also said that around this period, Edsel had a public rivalry with the band Murderdolls, particularly vocalist Wednesday 13. An early version of the band when it was called 'The Rejects' had featured Racci Shay on drums, and later it featured Tripp Eisen. Guitarist Acey Slade then left Dope to join Murderdolls in mid-2002, where I assumed it caused some friction in the Dope camp.
