COMMENTS

Deviant is a 5-piece rap/metal band from Ames, Iowa that formed in 1997. By being from the Midwest, Deviant uses these key ingredients: frustration and alienation, to fuel their blend of rap and metal. They played shows all over the Midwest, and have put out one independently released EP.

The 'Chapter One' EP (2000) is also known as 'Chapter 1: Bag Of Trikz', and was recorded at SR Audio in Urbandale, IA. It's produced by Deviant and Matt Sepanic (Deadfront), engineered by Matt Sepanic, and mixed and mastered by Cory 'C-Bone' Brown (35" Mudder).
