COMMENTS

Burning Down The House is a 80's pop tribute band based out of Des Moines, Iowa.

Jim says: "I received a call one evening from one Matt Biegger. He had agreed to put on an 80s pop rock themed charity event and needed to create a band. Jenipher Sutherland (the original 80s girl) was onboard but needed a bass player... and pretty much everything else. I told him I'd call him back in a few minutes. My first call was, of course, to Richie Cantrell. Gotta bring the keys and that's what Richie does. After a fairly brief discussion he agreed and volunteered Mike Ruby for guitar duties. Now the hard part... we needed a drummer that could acclimate and learn about 60 songs in very short order. I could think of not one person available or reliable and then a light went on... I called Josh Brainard... I called Matt back after about 20 minutes with a full band and we started practicing a few days later. Played a few shows and had a lot of fun. Josh and I decided to leave. Not quite suite sure what happened after that..."
