Also known as 'A.C. And The Crowz'.

The backing band consisted of members of Colsefni/Guardians Of Dystopia and Facecage.

'The Crowz' was just the name of the group of local Des Moines musicians who supported Anders Colsefni on his 2026 show performing all of Slipknot's first album, 'Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat.', as part of celebrating 30 years since its release.

The show was on 6th June 2026, and the venue was Wooly's in Des Moines, Iowa. Anders performed songs from M.F.K.R. and 'Crowz'.

The backing band members were never officially revealed, although once footage of the show was uploaded online, it was speculated by multiple people (including myself)... and shortly after confirmed by some... that Matt Nyberg (Facecage) was playing the role of 'Clown 2.0'. Several days later, Matt himself also publicly confirmed as much via his Facebook page. I suspect that at least some of the other musicians may have been members of the supporting band Brainphase.

Matt Nyberg was one of a group of the original Slipknot super fans back in the M.F.K.R. era called 'ZzSleepyClanzZ' and was dubbed 'the first maggot' by Shawn and Joey. Slipknot even played a private show for his 21st birthday. He also reportedly sometimes joined the band onstage and did backing vocals with Clown on songs such as 'Only One'.

I later discovered that Chris 'YoYo' Feldman was also a member in some capacity, after seeing his signature on items signed for fans in photos that had been posted online. In previous bands usually playing the role of sampler, there wasn't visibly anyone onstage in that capacity in live footage, so maybe he was more like crew backstage. Given the fact that 'YoYo' was a member of Anders' previous outfit called Colsefni (also known as Guardians Of Dystopia), who were originally slated to deliver the 'Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat.' experience live, maybe more of its members are also actually in 'The Crowz'. He was also once a member of Facecage, where he did keyboards, samples, and lights... which gives him the connection to Matt Nyberg. Feldman also announced on his Facebook page a month before the show that he would be doing the lights for Brainphase during that show.

The printed setlist for the show was later seen in a video posted online, with 'Ryan' and 'Yo' being named as responsible for various samples for the Slipknot songs performed. I'm not sure who 'Ryan' is, but 'Yo' further confirms Feldman.

Author's note: A contributor to this site sent me an e-mail during July of 2026 with the full line-up of the band! Previously it was unknown and I had only figured out two of the members other than obviously Anders. So, even though it was mostly kept secret, it took less than six weeks for the full line-up to be found out! My contributor actually said that it only took him about 2 weeks to find out the members of The Crowz. He already knew about Matt Nyberg. He saw some autographs posted online from the show and looked up the names (even though some of the signatures were really hard to read), found out about Yo-Yo on Instagram (someone tagged him in a photo), found Jakub on Facebook (he's friends with Anders on there) and compared his tattoos with the bass player's, and got the other members' names from a post on Facebook from AJ Good (someone commented asking who the members were and someone else responded with the first name of each member and the bands they were in).
