COMMENTS

'80s KISS, a KISS tribute band featuring members of SLIPKNOT and SHADOWS FALL, will play the final date of the 'Subliminal Verses Tour' Saturday night (April 30) in Madison, Wisconsin. Sources close to the non-world-reknowned supergroup say that when the doors open, the band expects to play to an audience of empty chairs. Song requests will be honored only from fans in the nosebleed section.

'80S KISS made their live debut on the 'Subliminal Verses Tour' Friday night (April 29, 2005) in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Michael 'Sully da Bull' Sullivan, also known as 'The Shark', is an assistant touring crew member for Slipknot. He was also the production coordinator for Hatebreed's album 'The Rise Of Brutality', and Murderdolls' album 'Women And Children Last'. He also played bass in a 90's band called Doom Nation.

Author's note: Some 21 years after this band was announced, a contributor to this site sent me an e-mail during July of 2026 with the actual line-up of the band! Apparently the names were got from an Instagram post, from one of the members of Shadows Fall. Previously the line-up was unknown and I didn't even know that Joey was a part of it! It just goes to show that new info is coming out all the time, even decades later!
